Dr. Carlsson is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and has a doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently in private practice focusing on the needs of his clients based out of West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Carlsson’s approach to therapy is blended mix of modern evidence-based practice with existential and humanistic themes. As a “conversationalist”, Dr. Carlsson prioritizes the fellowship between doctor and client as the means for exploration and growth.
With educational practice in the realms of primary care, surgical recovery, pain clinics, as well as his generalist care, Dr. Carlsson places emphasis on the holistic interplay of the mind and body when developing a care plan. Through these experiences, he has worked with clients working through chronic pain management, end of life concerns, grief, cancer, and other medical conditions. In addition to his focus on health matters, Dr. Carlsson has a passion to assist young men in finding their path in life. He works with these young men to work on goal setting, meaning making, as well as improving self-esteem to better their lives for the future. In his free time, Dr. Carlsson enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, playing video games, and watching his favorite sports teams.
