Kasie Wallace is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology degree from the University of Central Florida. She completed her clinical internship at a private practice which specialized in aiding substance use clients in their completion of case plans for Florida Safety Council.
Ms. Wallace has over 6 years of experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults in various agency settings including crisis care, inpatient, residential, and outpatient. She has experience in working with substance use/abuse, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, bipolar disorders, severe mental illness, emotional and behavioral concerns, and LGBTQA+ matters.
Ms. Wallace believes a supportive, therapeutic environment coupled with individualized treatment planning and objectives that are tailored to the unique matters of each client are key to growth, progress, and achievement of each client’s vision of success. With this, all clinical interventions are guided by a sense of teamwork between client and therapist with clients encouraged to advocate for their needs and goals. Her therapeutic style can be considered eclectic, relational, and client-centered with theoretical backgrounds spanning cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based practices, solution-focused, strengths-based, and choice oriented to be of service to all client challenges.
