Kathryn A. Ney, MD PhD
Dr. Ney was born in Pittsburgh, PA and attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics Summa cum Laude. She went to Duke University in the Medical Scientist Training Program earning her MD and PhD in Biochemistry. She completed a residency in Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She worked in outpatient psychiatry and the Partial Hospital Program at Alabama Psychiatric Services in Mobile and Daphne from 2001 to 2015. For the past several years she has worked at Prairie St John’s Hospital in Fargo, ND doing inpatient and PHP work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, both in person and via telemedicine. She is excited to join CMPS and reunite with old patients and meet new patients. She enjoys patients of all ages. Her practice includes but is not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD.
