Dr. Leutzinger obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus area in geriatric psychology in 2003. In her more than 16 years of experience, she has worked to provide personalized treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults with a variety of presenting difficulties. She has also worked as a supervisor for practicum students and predoctoral interns. Most recently, she worked to provide psychotherapy services to senior adults residing in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
Dr. Leutzinger provides individual psychotherapy services for adolescents, adults, and senior adults utilizing supportive, motivational, and cognitive behavioral approaches to assist patients in reaching their desired goals and improving overall well-being. She also provides comprehensive, psychodiagnostic evaluations to assess level of functioning related to cognition, learning difficulties, memory, and personality. Additionally, she administers presurgical assessments for bariatric and pain procedures.
