Dr. LeBlond is a recent transplant to Florida from Colorado moving from one high quality of life state to another. Having worked in a State Psychiatric Hospital and a Mental Health Court, he is experienced in working with individuals suffering with severe and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, as well as depression, anxiety, stress management, and substance abuse, among others. Dr. LeBlond is further trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy which has been clinically proven to assist individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder. Prior to completing his Ph.D., he spent a number of years as a business professional. This combination allows him to assist individuals with personal and/or professional challenges, helping them move towards their desired positive behavioral change to author the life they envision. Additional areas of interest to Dr. LeBlond are the intersection of psychology and faith, and geropsychology – working with the aging adult population to experience the best quality of life possible given the individual’s specific circumstances. Dr. LeBlond volunteers his time to give back to the profession by serving as a member of the board of directors for the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, a board of nine which serves approximately 10,000 psychologists as members.
