Justin Conrad Koenitzer, Psy.D.
Dr. Koenitzer provides neuropsychological services across the lifespan to include assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and neurocognitive disorders due to traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Lewy Body disease, cancer and cancer-related treatment, and various other medical and neurological conditions. In addition to assessment, Dr. Koenitzer has helped older adults with neurocognitive disorders learn to compensate for their cognitive weaknesses through individualized cognitive remediation interventions.
Dr. Koenitzer earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his doctoral degree from Florida Institute of Technology, with specialized training in neuropsychology and behavioral medicine. He completed his clinical internship in the neuropsychology specialty track at Eastern Virginia Medical School and a two-year residency in neuropsychology through a private practice office. Research areas of interest include performance validity, dementia, and olfaction in neurocognitive disorders.
