Donald Mulkerne Jr., PhD
Dr. Jay Mulkerne earned his bachelor’s degree from S.U.N.Y. College at Plattsburgh (1973), his Master’s degree in counseling from Bowling Green State University in Ohio (1975), and his Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of Florida (1980). He has 34 years of clinical and professional experience in counseling and psychotherapy including private practice and hospital primary care settings. He has taught at the University of South Alabama and Florida State University. His clinical interests including treating individuals of all ages with anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep disorders such as insomnia, couples therapy, family therapy, and stress-related disorders affecting health and well being. He specializes in applying cognitive-behavioral therapies including ACT, CBT, and RBT.
