Bridget Barnett, CRNP
Bridget Barnett is a local resident of the Gulf Coast. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Alabama earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2006. After practicing as a Registered Nurse in community mental health she went on to receive her certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist. Ms. Barnett then furthered her education and received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing through the University of South Alabama’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program in 2010. She is currently Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Although her background expertise is focused on Children and Adolescents, she is credentialed and experienced in treating patients of all ages in both the private and community sector. Ms. Barnett received the Director’s Award in community mental health in 2008, University of South Alabama’s Clinical Excellence Award in her graduate program in 2010, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and a recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and Loan Program for Health Care Providers who serve in their respective communities. Ms. Barnett continues to participate in various professional organizations including the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and volunteers for various charity organizations.
