Dr. Leddi Fraser is a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida who has been practicing in the field of behavioral health for over 20 years.
Dr. Leddi Fraser obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. She also has a Masters’s level diploma in art therapy and has incorporated nonverbal as well as verbal interventions in her clinical work. Her primary theoretical orientation is cognitive-behavioral therapy, addressing core schemas, including thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that can have negative impacts on individuals obtaining and maintaining high levels of functionality.
Dr. Fraser takes a generalist approach to clinical psychology and works with a number of presenting problems, including co-occurring substance use and mental health issues, personality disorder traits, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, stress management, PTSD, grief, loss and bereavement, anger management, esteem, body image, and adjustment issues.
During her career, Dr. Fraser has provided extensive direct patient care that has included psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and crisis intervention. She has also provided supervision, direction, case conceptualization, and crisis management to other clinical staff and doctoral level interns in managerial roles that she has held as Associate Director of a community-based mental health agency as well as Clinical Director of co-occurring substance abuse and mental health facilities.
