Dr. Geetha Jacob, DNP is a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner, board-certified in both Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Practice. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatry from the University of North Florida, graduating with honors in 2021. She previously completed her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program in 2011. She is licensed to practice in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, providing care to patients aged 12 and older.
With a holistic and patient-centered approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She fosters a collaborative and non-judgmental environment, empowering her patients while promoting autonomy. Her dual certifications allow her to integrate both medical and psychiatric expertise into treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care.
Dr. Jacob has extensive experience in managing a wide range of mental health conditions, including dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, insomnia, OCD, phobias, and intellectual disabilities. She is passionate about providing evidence-based, compassionate care to improve her patients’ well-being.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She also loves watching movies, sports, reading, traveling, and gardening.
