In June, 2015 the Silver Psychology Center merged with Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS), the largest and most comprehensive private multidisciplinary mental health provider group in Florida. For the benefit of our patients and referral sources, the merger now allows for greatly expanded resources and staff to provide a much wider array of specialty services eventually including psychiatry, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for depression, biofeedback, and neurofeedback services.

The growth of CMPS in all of our offices but especially in Ft. Myers has come through referrals from doctors, attorneys, business and other professionals, as well as satisfied patients. Our practice is known for its work with children and families as well as adults and the geriatric population. We have built a solid reputation for our expertise in the areas of neuropsychological evaluations (memory, dementia, cognitive problems), psychological evaluations and the diagnosis of learning and academic performance problems. Our treatment may be problem-focused and short-term, or extended as necessary depending upon progress and the patient’s goals. The majority of our patients come to us due to personal problems related to everyday stress, as well as family and marital problems and for learning, cognitive, memory, and behavioral difficulties.

We are fortunate to have a number of specialists on our staff in the areas of child psychology, family psychology, and neuropsychology, whose training was attained from programs approved and accredited by the American Psychological Association.

CMPS – Fort Myers has experience with a variety of neurologic and psychiatric disorders including:

  • Alzheimer’s disease
