Jason M. Sabo, Ph.D.
Dr. Sabo is a graduate of the Ball State University (BSU) where he was awarded his Doctor of Psychology degree in Counseling and School Psychology, an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program. At BSU he received training in psychological evaluation and therapy with children at the Youth Opportunity Center. He also provided individual psychotherapy at the BSU Counseling Clinic and participated in providing school psychological services at Wilson Middle School. Dr. Sabo served his APA approved internship at Miami-Dade Human Services where he performed psychoeducational evaluations and provided individual and family therapy. For three years, Dr. Sabo was employed by the Scioto Juvenile Facility assessing and treating youthful offenders. In this position he made risk assessments and served as the Chief Hostage Negotiator.
Dr. Sabo is well-versed in dealing with children who are oppositional and defiant and helps parents manage the problematic behavior of their children. His professional interests include psychoeducational assessment, diagnosing learning and behavioral problems in children and family therapy. Dr. Sabo is a Licensed Psychologist.
