Dr. Karen Mikolic received her Ph.D. from the Palo Alto University in 2008 under the neuropsychological tutelage of Dr. Amy Wisniewski. She completed her 2-year Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Residence in Washington D.C. at Medstar Health under supervision of Dr. William Garmoe, ABPP-Cn and Lauren Krivitzky, ABPP-Cn while completing adult and child neuropsychology evaluations. Her APA internship was completed at Tewksbury Hospital in Massachusetts under the neuropsychology supervision of Dr. Edith Kaplan, ABPP-Cn. Dr. Mikolic, as a Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Department of Neuropsychology at Orlando Regional Medical Center, specialized within the rehabilitation setting working with patients who suffered traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological disorders across the lifespan for 6 years. In addition to her hospital-based experience, she has also conducted pediatric neuropsychology evaluations in the private practice setting with developmental disorders, autism, learning and attentional disorders. Dr. Mikolic recently completed her board-certification with the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology.
