Marianne G. Krouk, DO, ABPN, FAPA
Dr. Krouk has an outpatient practice in the CMPS Fort Myers’ office and provides psychiatric services for children, adolescents and adults. She offers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and consultations for Treatment Resistant Depression and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Dr. Krouk graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and completed an osteopathic internship prior to pursuing specialty training in Psychiatry. She completed a combined residency in Adult and Child Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Medical College of Pennsylvania/Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (EPPI). Dr. Krouk is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
Dr. Krouk has substantial experience treating patients of all ages and has worked in Pennsylvania and since 2007 in Fort Myers, FL. As a Public Health Service psychiatrist, she relocated from Philadelphia to a community mental health center in western Pennsylvania following completion of fellowship training. She has worked on inpatient units for adults as well as for children and adolescents. She has served as Medical Director for a Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, specializing in the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders. She has treated persons in day both Adult and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Programs. She has served as a Medical Director for a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents as well as a consultant for both adult and adolescent dual diagnosis inpatient units. She has been identified as a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association (APA).
Areas of specific interest and expertise include: evaluation and treatment of Mood Disorder, Anxiety, ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders across the life span. She has a particular interest in Treatment Resistant Depression with additional certification to provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). She has a well-documented clinical record with emphasis on holistic, individualized care in collaboration with a treatment team.
