Kim Johnson, Psy.D., LSSP
Dr. Johnson is a clinical neuropsychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (a specialist license to practice in schools in the state of Texas) who specializes in understanding and evaluating brain-behavior relationships. She is essentially passionate about neuropsychological evaluations and enjoys evaluating individuals 4 years old through senior adult for a wide range of learning problems, developmental delays, autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, brain injuries, strokes and various dementias. Dr. Johnson earned her Doctorate of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California in 2001. She completed two post-doctorate programs: a one-year program in school psychology and a two-year program in pediatric and adult neuropsychology. Dr. Johnson’s experience comprises diverse settings: evaluating students in a school setting, diagnosing adults in outpatient and inpatient clinics, teaching neurology residents, performing mental health disability evaluations, and providing consultative services to several government agencies about various neurocognitve dysfunction. She is also one of a few neuropsychologists in Texas who is HIMS-certified in Aviation Psychology to perform FAA-required evaluations for pilots and air traffic controllers.
